Bellaire Public Library is seeking a part-time seasonal, temporary clerk.  Must be flexible with work schedule.  Minimum wage. If interested, complete application form found at the circulation desk.

 

Bellaire Public Library is seeking a full time Children’s Librarian. Library experience and MLS/MLIS preferred. Must have knowledge in creating and coordinating teen and children programs and have competent technology skills.

Basic Guitar -July 30

Ever thought about taking guitar lessons but didn't want to pay for them until you knew for sure that guitar playing was for you?  Well then, guitar basics is for you.  On July 30th at 5:30 p.m. Laura will show you some very basic techniques: tuning, chords, timing, picking, and strumming.  These sessions are free and are designed for the very beginner ages 12  to 112 years old.  Don't have a guitar?  There should be at least one extra one at each session that you can use.  Sign up today!

Attention all youngsters....please join us this Friday at 11:00 a.m.(July 25th) for the hilarious story "Diary of a Worm." This book, by author Doreen Cronin, will have you squirming with laughter! After the story, each child will have the opportunity to make their own delicious wormy dessert! We hope to see you there! Bring a friend for double the fun!
