SLP: Geology Rocks! + Closing Party

Join us for our final summer library program of 2018 as the Schrader Center presents Geology Rocks!

Libraries rock, and so does the Earth! Look at (and touch) fossils that give us clues to the past, and learn about the different types of rocks as you play "Rock Cycle Ruckus" and "Metamorphosis Master," two geology games that will have you rocking and rolling. 

SLP: Music Rocks!

Join us for this week's all-ages summer library program: Music Rocks! as the Schrader Center presents Making Music.

Do you march to the tune of your own drum? This engaging, hands-on program will lead students through the art of making their own instruments from recycled and natural objects. Get ready for a fun hour of individual and group music making.

This is an all-ages program for our summer library program. Teens & children of all ages are welcome to attend.

SLP: Ice Cream Rocks!

Join us as we celebrate National Ice Cream Month at this week's Summer Library Program: Ice Cream Rocks! We will have fun activities as well as a cool ice cream treat.

This is an all-ages program for our 2018 Summer Library Program: Libraries Rock! Children and teens of all ages are welcome.

SLP: Owls Rock!

Join us for a fun Hooting Owls program with the Schrader Center! Get an up-close look at an owl mount and other owl artifacts in this fun and engaging program. Learn all about these nocturnal predators with a reading of Jane Yolen's Owl Moon and a fun game of "Sneaky Fox & Owl" that will have everyone hooting with laughter. There will also be owl pellet dissection.

This is an all-ages program that is part of our 2018 Summer Library Program: Libraries Rock!
